London Riots

MOTIVATION
ÒThere is not one reason for the riots
ÒRioters expressed anger at the police calling them hostile
ÒThe motivation was the killing of a man by a police officer
ÒYouths were there mail participants of the riots using the opportunity to loot
 REASON
A young boy of 18 was also robbed by two men who act as good Samaritans and then stole from an injured Malaysian student during the London riots. You can see way I said they is no reason if this can happened to a young boy of 18 by 21, 22 men what next.

'A referendum is a form of direct democracy but a referendum is rarely used in British Politics. In most issues, as befits representative democracy, the government decides policy after Parliamentary debates etc. Referendums put the onus on the voter in what is essentially a 'yes' or 'no' choice. The Labour Party promised two in its 1997 manifesto on the issue of whether we join the Euro or not and whether the country needed another electoral system to replace the First-Past-The-Post system. Five years later, both these referendums have yet to be called.' (ask.com 2012)

'In the third Assembly Measures could be proposed by the Welsh Assembly Government, Assembly Committees, an Assembly Member or the Assembly Commission. The Assembly procedures relevant to Measures are set out in Standing Order 23.
In the third Assembly, there was a four-stage process for the consideration of a proposed Measure:
  • Stage 1 – consideration and agreement of the general principles of the Measure;
  • Stage 2 – detailed consideration of the Measure and any amendments tabled by a committee of Assembly Members;
  • Stage 3 – detailed consideration in plenary of the Measure and any selected amendments;
  • Stage 4 – passing the final text of the Measure.
Information on legislation considered in the Third Assembly is available in Legislative Competence Orders and Measures of the Third Assembly'

Before Roman times, (A.D.43. London), there was no Britain. Britain had no political meaning, and no single cultural identity. Believable this continued to be true until the 17th century, when James I of England tried to create a single British Sovereignty (British Cultire, n.d)
The first accounts of Britain are the Romans, One example was Julius Ceaser who penetrated in 55 and 54 BC. Most people call the Britons before the Romans the Celts. The celts originated from Europe and settled in Briatin. Their culture goes back to about 1200 BC. The Celts were famous for their art work and jewellery. They were pre christain and are however known as 'pagans' and their priest were known as Druids. there are still practising Druids in Britain. (British Culture, n.d)
According to Mandy Barrow (2010), Britain’s are the people who live in United Kingdom, They can either be English, Welsh or Scottish from these countries respectively England, Wales and Scotland. People from Northern Ireland are not Britain’s. Most people confuse the fact that Ireland is in Britain. United Kingdom is made up of Britain and the Northern Ireland.
British is a country of mixed cultures. London has the largest non-white population of any European city and over 250 languages are spoken there. Not all British people are white or Christians.
Many individuals think that English is the same as British, which is not. People who are English are from the country of England and on the other hand British people are people who live in Great Britain and the United Kingdom (Mandy Barrow, 2010)
Most white people born in Britain do not regard their selves as British but prefer to state their identity as English, Scottish or Welsh

The key to future of Africa is its Education system
           BBC(2007)
Education is the act or process of transmitting knowledge, developing the powers of reasoning and judgement, and generally of preparing an individual psychologically for a sophisticated life. (Dictionary.com, 2012) Education is a contribution that pays off anytime anywhere (BFFA)
 OUOTED
‘’Education has been particularly significant as an instrument of social policy, in the sense not only of policies for welfare but also as policies intended to deal with the structure of society. The aims of education include:
  • Liberal education: the development of each individual intellectually and socially to that person's fullest potential
  • Socialisation: education is a method of transmission of social norms and values. This is also sometimes seen as a form of social control.
  • Education as 'handmaiden': the education system serves the industrial process and the economy by producing a trained workforce, and by providing child minding services.
  • Social change (or 'social engineering'). The education system has been seen as a means of bringing about social change’’.
